Frequently asked questions

What people ask us most before taking off. If it is not here, write to us and we will add it.

The game

Is it free?

Yes. P-51 Cadillac of the Sky is free, with no ads and no purchases. There are no paid coins or cosmetics either.

Which platforms can I play on?

On Windows (installer) and on Android (APK). There is no version for other systems for now.

What are the controls?

On a computer you play with the keyboard only: WASD or arrows to move, the main weapon fires by itself, Space or J launches rockets and Shift or K calls the bombing run. On Android you steer with your finger and fire is continuous. It is all on the How to play page.

What requirements do I need?

The game is built for computers and phones with some muscle, not for the bare minimum. The requirements we publish are approximate until we measure them on real hardware.

Can I play alone?

Yes. You can play solo, and if a pilot is missing an AI wingman, Wing 2, flies with you. Practice mode is a solo tutorial.

What age is it for?

For players aged 14 and over. Violence is only against machines, in a war-poster tone with dry humour.

Online and friends

How do I play with a friend?

Create a private or friends game and send them an invitation from the game, or join theirs from the friends list. To add them you need their callsign with the tag, for example Halcón#4821.

How many pilots fit in a game?

Two pilots, the host and the guest, and up to two spectators watching without taking part. You can drop in mid-game.

Are there game servers?

No. One of the two pilots is the host and the other connects directly to them. That is why each of you can see the other’s IP address while you play. On some networks the direct connection may not succeed.

Can I play with strangers?

Yes, in public games: you ask to join and the host approves. You can also use quick match. If someone bothers you, you can block or report them from the game.

Pilot and data

Do I need to create an account or give an email?

No. There is no sign-up and no email. When you open the game an anonymous pilot is created on your device, with the callsign you choose and a four-digit tag.

What data is stored?

Only pseudonymous data: your callsign and tag, friendships and blocks, scores and achievements, and your IP in technical logs for 48 hours. Your progress, money and upgrades are stored on your device. The full detail is in the Privacy policy.

How do I delete my data?

From the game itself, with immediate and total deletion of the pilot, and you can also export your data. Pilots inactive for 24 months are removed.

What if I change device or delete the game?

With no email there is no automatic recovery. Before switching, export the backup code from Options and keep it yourself; with it you can move your pilot to another device.

Does the website use cookies?

It sets no cookies of its own. We measure visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies, and the Cloudflare Turnstile check only loads when you request a download. It is explained in the Cookie policy.

Downloads

Why is there a check before downloading?

To stop bots. It is a Cloudflare Turnstile check made only when you request the link. Then you get a signed link that lasts 5 minutes; if it expires, you ask for another.

My antivirus or Windows SmartScreen warns me on install, what do I do?

Check that the file is ours: the downloads page shows its SHA-256 and the command to verify it. If it matches, it is the published file. We will never ask you to disable your antivirus; if something blocks you, leave the install on hold and write to us.

How do I install the APK on Android?

Download the APK file, open it and allow the installation from your browser or file manager when Android asks. You can remove that permission afterwards.

The link says downloads open soon

There is no published version yet or the service is not responding right now. Come back in a while.
